BiographySabine, born in 1958 in Marseille, has granted from -Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués, Paris -Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris -Université Paris I (history of art) She has widely exhibited in France, Germany, Belgium and since 2003 also in England. Her sculptures are in public acquisitions and private collections. Numerous prizes have been awarded to her. "Loulouttes", Sabine's charismatic and sensuous figurines, are the contemporary embodiment of classical sculpture, embracing the sinuous lines of ecclesiastical nymphes, the solidity to enhance their gentle movements. Each sculpture seems to capture a certain gaiety and humour, that is almost characteristic of the primitive naive tradition itself. |
